Nagarkot 360 viewpoint tower is the most popular thing about this place. It is situated at an altitude of 2164 meters towards the south of the villages in Nagarkot. It will take around half an hour to reach the towers from the hotels.

Amazing Himalayan ranges are seen on clear days from the top of the tower which is wonderful to see.

2. Buddha Peace Park, Mahamanjushree Nagarkot

It is a newly constructed park in Nagarkot. The park is famous for the amazing Buddha statue. You can plant a tree in the memory of someone you love, during your birthday, and on some other special days and have to pay NRS 350 per plant.

3. Bojini Dam

Bojini Dam which lies in between the amazing forest of pine is a popular dam nowadays but nothing only swamp a few years back. Locals built the dam for irrigational purposes. The damp is a beautiful viewpoint from where you can see high hills on the back.

How To Travel to Nagarkot?

You can travel to Nagarkot either by renting a private car or motorbike from Kathmandu or taking a cab or traveling by local bus.

By Taxi from Kathmandu

If you go to Nagarkot by taking a cab/ taxi from Kathmandu, it will take around 2- 2.5 hours to reach there. It is the easiest and most comfortable way to reach but will cost NRS 3000 one way which is expensive.

By Local Bus from Kathmandu

The best and affordable way to get Nagarkot from Kathmandu is by local bus. At first, you should take a bus from Kathmandu to Bhaktapur and then change the bus from Bhaktapur to Nagarkot.

NOTE: When you're going to change the bus towards Nagarkot from Bhaktapur it's good to know that you will find the small bus terminal northeast of Bhaktapur near Kamal Pokhari tank along the main road.
